The unit needs to have more accuracy. When it says wet or dry, there is no indication as to how much is it that wet or dry? Other soil meters have better indicators as to help determine how wet or dry the soil is. What really was not good for me was trying to remove the 9V battery from the meter clips. The meter battery clips are so tight, I had to use a fiat head screwdriver with a lot of force to pry the battery from the meter clip. Doing this almost damaged the clip terminals.I immediately returned it. I find that the non-battery meters are far superior and they don’t need a battery.
