I gave this product 5 stars because it is very well made, solid, comfortable and the video instructions were perfect. It is actually beautiful! There are so many design choices, it made choosing one difficult. It is easy to clean, it has a quiet lid closure and it is reasonably priced, considering the quality. I have had some problems with other toilet seats that were hard to install, cheaply made but overpriced and with screws stripping so that the seat slide off. I would recommend this product to anyone!

Mon titre dit tout. Je l’ai installé seule. Vient avec un viseur à écrou. Notez que sur ma photo il y a du faux sang sur le couvercle. Ce n’est évidement pas le model original, mais bien de la simple décoration pour Halloween. Merci d’en tenir compte.

This seat is pretty sweet. It's nicer aesthetically than basic white. It also feels sturdy & secure when heavier peeps sit on it. It took me a few tries to adjust the seat to my liking, but it was pretty simple to figure out. The quiet soft close works great and it's a nice touch. I think $50 bucks is a fair price. You can spend $20 -$25 on cheaper plastic seats but you will probably have to replace them twice as fast and you won't get to choose a cool image. Looking at the reviews with images of cracking and chipping paint. This seat will probably not hold up after continual soaking from kids/partners who don't wipe the seat when they miss the bowl. Nor will it survive abrasive and chemical solutions used to try to remove stains. If that's what you are looking for, you should probably go with a cheap plain white plastic "disposable" after a few months' use type of seat. But if you are willing to keep it clean and dry? You are going to love it for the price you paid!* So, after I wrote this review I took the images. It was then I noticed a small area on the underside of the lid that is chipped and missing paint. That's a bummer since it will probably continue to peel in that area. But $50, made in China... What are you going to do? It's not worth sending back, even if I hadn't already thrown my old seat away. I'll touch it up with some white-out and not one will ever notice. So all in all, I still give it 4*s instead of 5*s if there had been no chip.

I love my new toilet seat. My father was a lighthouse keeper and it’s identical to my dads lighthouse. I love it. It’s brightened up the bathroom and fits in well with my sea and she’ll theme. It is well made and I am delighted with it.
