You cannot set an on at a specific time and off at a specific time! It only has Astro timer which means it turns on and off according to your location. Also the Astro timer turns the lights on again in the morning which is something I don’t want to do.

The product seems very well built but it's day three and I still don't have it working for what I wanted it for.The Astro feature was the reason I bought it and it will not work all night long, dusk to dawn as I want.It turns on fine but during the night it shuts off and due to the lousy, fine print instructions I cannot figure out why.It talks about how to turn on a default setting but it doesn't tell you how to turn it off.I'm going to try the timer mode tonight and Astro mode tomorrow and if I can't figure it out it's going back.

The product got installed and was working fine but suddenly it says that the load it higher and turns off automatically, but no new fixtures were added. The total watts needed were

Hooked up 6 outdoor led lights and has worked ok for several nights. Shows 50% load - a nice feature. Very compact. Will see how it performs over time in outdoor setting. Good price with many features, a bit difficult to program but finally figured it out for dusk to dawn setting.

What I like the most from this transformer is all the on/off options to choose from. This transformer features a dusk - dawn option, an astronomical function that can be set according to what state you live in, and the traditional on at 6pm and off at 2am setting. I have a garage mounted transformer so I needed one that offered a manual timer and this was one of the few options I was able to find that offered more than just a light sensor activated timer - or dusk to dawn setting. I never heard of this brand name before but after further research I found they are the manufacturers of Malibu and Brinkmann products so build quality seems very solid. I've had this set up for a few nights now powering 24watts of warm led lights each drawing 3watts per light and a 60 watt transformer has the ability nowadays to run a substantial amount of LED landscape powered lights. One more feature that is very helpful, is a load meter that visually allows you to monitor if you are getting to the point of overloading your transformer with too many lights. In all, I'm very happy with my purchase and would confidently recommend. Just wanted to add that I bought this transformer as a Used Like New because it was missing the owners manual so I just wanted to thank my fellow Amazon shoppers for posting photos of the operating manual -it was very helpful !
