I am not happy at all with this low voltage transformer for outdoor lights. First the unit only has an on and off switch, no timer. Second, in order to control the unit, you mut download the app, forget it. I had trouble connecting with the app. In short, I can't return it because I waited to long to set it up so I missed the return window. In order to turn it off and on I need to go to the unit and press the switch. The quality of the unit is good.Update from 2 stars to one star, I wish I could give it less stars!! Ok, I tried to attach an outdoor timer to the unit, that didn't work. It seems you have to manually turn it on each time. I will end up throwing this piece of garbage away!

Hello,Received the product and spent quality time trying to connect to my wifi noting that most of my home switches and all my cameras are connected to wifi, but, did not succeed in connecting this product. The product was delivered apparently damaged from day one. Would not recommend to buy with wifi. Better to buy a standard transformer without electronics in it and add to it a wifi enabled outdoor smart plug Alexa and Kasa enabled. This is exactly what I did and it works perfectly.

So the transformer itself does what it's supposed to. And it actually does have a pretty stout wireless receiver in there because even my phone has issues pulling my wifi signal through a fully finished metal sided barn and this connects immediately when I plug it in. But my gripe is with the app, it seriously looks and operates like something from windows 95. It's awful, and it WILL NOT set itself to eastern standard time. Will only ever revert to UTC no matter how many times in reset and re-setup the system all the while clicking the eastern time option. So my sun up and sun down times are all screwed up. And the timer function is pretty useless since sun up and sun down obviously change throughout the year. I don't know why this thing just doesn't have a dusk to dawn sensor like my other cheap non-wifi one on the other side of the property, but that one is my fault for not checking the description, I just assumed it did because I've never seen one without one. But alas, it'll work fine, and power the exorbant amount of lights I plan to shine for people to gawk at. and I'm pretty sure I can get Google assistant to set this thing on a schedule so hopefully I won't have to ever use the app.

This unit seem much heavier than my other transformers but works just fine. The wifi function is a nice addition, the only negative is that its dual outputs are now independent. I was hoping to use each output for one group of lights, but thats not an option. Otherwise, its a good unit.

I'm an electrical contractor. This is a great unit, reasonably priced and 200w should be more than enough for a larger backyard. The only issue was the control app. I have installed it in Canada, and with the Canadian postal code, I wasn't able to finish the setup. I had to use a usa zip code.

Well it works, is cheap, and has WiFi. However the package is let down by the ECOPlugs app it uses to set it up which is rudimentary, has poor error handling, and hasn't been updated since 2019. But I did initially manage to go through the instructions for set up on an Android phone, get it on my WiFi, set a schedule, and then set it up to be controlled by Google Assistant. Unfortunately since then whenever I open the ECOPlugs app it just spins on the "Looking for router" message. There's no escape from that - cleared cache, reinstalled, still no luck. Now I don't want to reset the device (no instructions are available online - make sure you keep the printed manual!) in case it never connects again.

Overall the timer works and has a pretty simple app that allows you to control the unit. The options are pretty basic but they work. The only option that gets you dusk to dawn is the astronomic setting for sunrise and sunset. It doesn’t have a light sensor either.So. The biggest problem I have with the unit is that it says it works with Google assistant but so far I haven’t been able to get it to work and the support is non existent. In short, it functions but not with Google assistant, the app is pretty clunky and while it’s on the Google Assistant list as works with Google, it fails when you try to integrate.
