This has absolutely saved my plants!People say that sticking your finger in the soil to test the water level/dampness works but NO it doesn't, it's not nearly as accurate as this, nor does your finger reach as far down as this moisture meter.Not to mention it also measures light and pH!Amazing!10/10 would recommend !

This soil meter is not really precise. You may get an idea of how wet or bright the conditions are, but don't expect any accuracy. The light detection is not sensitive at all. You may be better off using an app on a smart phone. The probes rust easily if left in the soil for too long. Be sure to clean the tips right away every time you use it.

It took awhile to get here and i was already in the middle in the season by the time i revieved it however tats a mail issue for the product itself it was easy to figure it out and convient to beable to check my soil now amd then . I also liked the included pamflet of plants with info they include

It is what you expect from it, the switch can be little hard to turn from pH to light to moisture, but overall the gauge seems to be showing. the letters on gauge are tiny, but good enough for the application. I wish it would be more compact, since this can only go to bigger plants otherwise it could even tip the planter.

Ayer recibí el medidor y tan contenta con la compra, lo primero que hice fue irme al huerto y probarlo. Me resulto curioso y raro ver que el ph de mi suelo era super basico, fui probando en varios sitios y el valor del ph no cambiaba asi que lo meti en la compostera, aqui apenas se movio la aguja un milimetro.

Not accurate whatsoever. The title of this product is a 100% lie (it says "100% accurate" right in the title). Don't know how Amazon even allows this garbage on their website. There is no light sensor on this unit at all, it measures HEAT, not light, meaning it will only work on standard incandescent lights, so if you are using fluorescent CFL bulbs, or LED lights, it will give you false readings. Even with incandescent lights, it doesn't actually sense the light, it just approximates the reading based on how much heat it senses. I stupidly trusted the light meter and put my plants closer to the light, but they were so close to the light they got burned. The PH meter is off by almost a whole point, and the moisture reader is useless as well. Waste of time and money.

great little rig,But took me awhile to figure the light out since Led Lights don't register and neither does florescent only incandescent rates off the charts.That's when I realized it doesn't register light, It registers the heat, which really sucks and feels like abit of a rip off...Other then that Works really well for moisture and Ph...
