Extend the life of your beloved houseplants with the SUSTEE Aquameter soil moisture meter for indoor and outdoor plants. SUSTEE is designed and made in Japan and is the perfect addition to various houseplants. It has a slim, minimalist aesthetic that doesn't take away from the beauty of the plants, harmoniously blending in when left in the soil. It works with almost any plant that grows in the soil. When using the moisture testing stick, the white color indicates that the plant needs watering, and the blue color indicates that it has enough water. The core insert that determines if watering is needed can also be manually replaced. This leave in soil moisture meter is maintenance-free. A perfect plant watering indicator for potted plants. It is recommended to replace the refillable core of your SUSTEE after 6-9 months of use. Meet SUSTEE

SUSTEE is a modern, Japanese soil moisture sensor. The blue color indicates that there is enough water in the soil, and the while color indicate that plant is in need of watering. SUSTEE features a minimal aesthetic that doesn't take away from the beauty of your plants.

SUSTEE

Sustee 01

Color

Has your SUSTEE turned white? That means it is time to water! After watering, the white insert will change to a blue color. This indicates that there is enough water in the soil.

Sustee 02

Soil

SUSTEE can be used with almost all plants that grow in soils with a certain level of moisture retention. This includes akadama soil, black earth, bark, coco peat, peat moss and vermiculite.

Sustee 03

Insertion Depth

When inserting SUSTEE, please ensure that the Ω mark found on the stick is entirely covered. Please also make sure that the transpiration opening is visible if the stick is needing to go deeper.

Sustee 04

Time

The time it takes to change color will depend on the amount of water given and the water retention level. When using SUSTEE for the first time, please water generously. The small stick takes approximately 3 minutes, the medium 15 minutes, and the large 25 minutes.

This water soil sensor so easy to use and clear when the soil is dry! Almost all of my plants have one.

Like a time clock, they let you know when it’s time to water your plants which is saved me quite a few plants as I tend to overwater. They are really pricey, but they work so well that I actually bought another set. I certain couldn’t afford to buy anymore, but I really enjoy what I’ve got.

I absolutely love this meter. I can judge the water needs of each plant. I get the meter to turn completely blue, from there I can water or not depending on the shade of blue. They are quite expensive especially since I want one for each plant. But here goes buying another dozen.

Very handy if you want to know the moisture of your soul without sticking your fingers in the dirt. Only complaint is they seem to stop working after a few months. Sometimes you can get them to work again by putting them in a different spot in the pot. Do note, that you shouldn't solely rely on them to know when to water, some plants need to be wet all the time others want to dry completely out for a bit. Look up your plant's care to see its needs. Gave 4 stars cuz they do stop working after awhile and they seem a bit pricey for being disposable

I would have a such lush plants if I had gotten these earlier. These work well for someone like me who forgets to water plants on a regular basis. So far so good.

They are all working.. it's the first time to use these moisture meters so l find that they become white very quickly and l am watering my plants many days earlier than l usually do. .. but it's good for beginners who have no idea when to water as over watering kills plants. I will probably buy more longer ones for my bigger pots.
