How to Use:
1. Open the battery back cover and install two AAA batteries (not included). Press the power button and a normal display will appear on the test screen.
2. Insert the probe vertically into the soil about 2/3 of the way in, do not shake, make sure the probe is in full contact with the soil.
3. Press the test button, the value will start flashing, wait for it to stabilize and read the value.
4. Wipe the probe clean after use and place it in a dry environment
Warm Tips:
Using this product in sand will result in inaccurate measurements
Rocks or too hard soil may damage the probe
Do not leave the soil tester in the soil for too long
Do not use it to test water or other liquids, it is designed for testing soil

Good quality sensor for keeping plants happy. Works well but you need to install your own battery in it. Once battery is in it you can put it in any flower pot and it will display moisture and other data. Works great to know when water is required. I am not sure about the accuracy of the sensor as I have no way to measure it, but looks fine for keeping track of watering.

This soil moisture meter works great, and it has a built in pH meter so I can better troubleshoot soil problems. The indicator is easy to read on it, and the prongs that stick into the soil seem sturdy and like they’ll last a long time. I would recommend this moisture meter!

The Foyucool 6-in-1 Soil pH Meter is of good quality and a great value. It really must have been designed by someone who actually has a regular use for the information it gives back. It is well done, straight-forward to use with a couple of important conveniences.Its temperature unit is F by default and won’t stay in C, if that is what you wanted it set to, but it’s quick to just hit the C/F button to change it. I wish it would remember the last setting though.It is very quick to give its readings and is very easy to use. The tilt makes it so easy to read measurements and the backlight helps too.It really is an “intelligent soil tester”. It is beyond my expertise. The listing has an image showing optimal ranges for some of the readings. That would be a good thing to hang onto and I wish they had included it on the box or on a card in the box. I am not knowledgeable enough to know where my readings should be on certain things and if they are out of range, what to do (eg. For PH and fertility).It is really very good and I highly recommend it.

I’ve been using this soil PH meter for a bunch of my plants, and I think it’s working great. I like that it has an actual measure button, that tells me that it’s actually doing something, rather than those that you just stick inside the soil. I would say that if you’re a new plant owner, this is a great way to have some peace of mind. That said, be sure to take it out after every reading (as you can destroy the probe if you leave it inside the soil).Here’s what I like about this meter:-It’s way more accurate than those meters that don’t require any batteries-Gives you a bunch of information (that does seem pretty accurate)-Reading is pretty quick-It looks great-Gives you the temperature in both C and F-Instructions are decent.And here’s what I don’t like about it:-Requires two AAA-Most things seem accurate, except for the temperature. Which is a couple of C off.I think the only things I want to complain about are the temperature sensor, and the battery requirements. I would’ve really liked if they had used two AA rather than two AAA, as they’re usually more available (or even an internal battery, with a USB C port, which would’ve been way better). The other thing I’m going to say is that they temperature reading is pretty off. Mine said it was 25C when it was actually 21C. That’s a pretty big disparity, and I can’t really tell why.Overall though, I really like the meter. I’ve been using it for a bunch of different plants, and it’s been working great. I really like how

This pH meter is incredibly simple to use. Just insert two AA batteries, press power button, insert into soil, press measure button, and you're done. It provides a variety of useful measures of soil health: fertility (mS/cm), moisture, pH, temperature, etc.The build quality seems great. I love that the screen swivels upwards, is backlit and the text is crystal clear, all of which make for taking easy readings indoors or outside.I tested it on several houseplants that have different soil types and moisture levels, and it gave consistent readings for the same plants and each plant had readings that were distinct from the others. I checked and the measurements are all within expected ranges for the types of soils and plants tested. So I have to assume the readings are accurate.I'm really impressed by the simplicity and consistency of this meter and would recommend to anyone.
