Wish I bought it sooner. Works well and now my plants are doing much better. Great for micro greens and outside garden as well. Will be getting another one!

Initially the “Moisture Meter” appeared to work but now when a house plant is watered with copious amounts of water the meter reads “dry”. Even when the probe is submerged in water it reads “dry”,as seen in the photo. Buyer beware, this is a piece of junk.

It 'does' measure whether or not a soil sample is moist. Calibrating the meter to determine the percentage of moisture a soil sample contains is difficult at best. As such, calibrating the meter to determine its accuracy is also difficult.

This meter is grwat for any plant but especially if the plant has a full root bowl &the meter slides in deep enough to take a proper reading. Also like the fact that a lot of plant names are listed on the back of the card board to help with knowing what range & amount of water is needed.
