This product is of good quality. However, there are several flaws in the design .

Did a recent performance where space was very limited. Researched stand options for a week and came up with this solution which seemed to check all the boxes. Company support videos on setup were a plus too.Was able to hold my 14" MBP, Push 2, and a Hydrasynth Explorer - while running a 1x1 MIDI interface and having my 4-channel audio interface underneath. Worked perfect and received lots of compliments on the stand too. Very sturdy base! One tip: When connecting the arms, mount the twist knobs from underneath so that you don't take up usable space on top for your gear.

This is the second copy of this particular that I have bought for my home recording studio. It helps keep some of the gear within line of sight and allows me to stack gear that otherwise would not all fit on my work surface. I would actually rate this stand 3.5 stars for a few of reasons. The paint on the base of the second unit I ordered had some serious overspray on it. It almost as if it had been left on a paint booth with some other items on it while something else was getting painted nearby. This is not really a big deal functionally. It's just an aesthetic thing. The other issues are a bit more concerning. The base doesn't seem to sit perfectly flat which means it rocks back an forth a little when you use any of the gear sitting on the stand. Some foam feet sticker are provided which help steady the stand somewhat, but they only supply 4 of them. Since the base is sort of trapezoidal in shape, it's difficult to find an ideal place to stick these that will keep the stand from rocking. My biggest concern is more for the horizontal supports that attach to the mast and support your gear. The knobs that tighten these to the mast are located 180º from the support. This means that the knob for one support gets in the way for the device on the other support if you want to have them at similar heights. Because of the way the stand is designed, it isn't possible to have both supports at exactly the same height. The other knob on each support controls the tilt angle at which the device will site relative to your table. But that knob also gets in the way taking up space away from the width of the device (if installed with the knob facing up) or colliding with the mast support knob of the other support (if installed facing down). This is kind of difficult to visualize, but just be warned that it is impossible to put two devices side-by-side on this stand and identical heights. On the plus side, the hardware itself seems very rugged and built to last. The problems I found seem to be more on the design than the manufacture of this product.
