They were a great fit and they are plenty strong to open up the hood of my F-150. It took me less than five minutes to replace once I figured out how to remove and install.

2001 Ford F150 Supercrew 4.6 V8Old hood props kept slamming down on us while trying to work under the hood. Looked online and found these for a great price and decided to take a chance. They came packaged with care and without any damage. Simple procedure to install--It was harder to take the old props (supports) off than it was to install these! (you can check online videos for easy instructions) Fits just like OEM--no workarounds or hacks needed. Quick and painless and most importantly, they work! Easy to raise/lower hood and no more worries about the top taking off our heads. No issues for the past 4 months they've been installed. Great product and would recommend.
