These really stand out in stainless. and are a nice upgrade, they just look much nicer with fiberglass and other stainless hardware.I have a lot of hatches on a project flats boat and really want to bump up the style. I also have a fiberglass live well on a boat. I find in salt water the black finish ones last an acceptable length of time , that one pictured is inside a salt water live well that does see salt water. It's usually the holding actuation that fails more than the finish, but look how much nicer the stainless ones look, and the extra protection of some stainless grade won't hurt.I can't tell the longevity but i'd assume they last as long as standard ones at least most brands of the standard ones seem to last about as long in salt and this does so while looking much nicer, really upgrades the look of your boat on a "it's the small details" level.

These worked great on truck camper top. Very strong. If you need a replacement, these work great.
