These are very strong shocks and if you put both on it will lift the hood like nothing but it took my whole body to bring it to a close. I took out one of the shocks and it was still too strong. They fit but clearly the wrong ones were sent. I returned for a refund- no issue.

Easy to install. I guess these are for more than 1 application. I had to remove a tab off 1 end of the new shock to install it on the end that attached to the hood. Besides that, they are perfect. Hood no longer crashes down on my head when looking under the hood!!

I ordered these for 87 buick regal...the shocks are nice and strong but one end is small than the other and the original has same size mounting bolts on both ends...Im a mechanic and just drilled out the small end to fit the bolt. You should not have to modify a product that is supposed to fit application

One would compress after struggling for a bit the other took a lot more effort and required probably 80-100lbs of force to collapse
