I bought this game as a gift and was really impressed with the speed of delivery. It came quick and the game was in perfect condition. The game itself is quite fun to play with two players. One person decides where to drop the zombies while the other one must kill all of them. This is a good game for the price and will entertain you and a friend for a little while. My friend was happy with this gift.

very scary, creepy game, if you are looking for a unique survival horror, this is for you!Do not go in expecting a beautiful game by any means, the character models leave much to be desired, that being said the lighting and atmosphere is very well realized!

It is rare to see a M rated title on a Nintendo console these days, and it happens to be a good one.As a launch title for the WiiU, ZombiU is a great showcase of the console's capabilities; by using the gamepad to its full extend, through various touch screen actions and displays. Thanks to the game pad, you won't see the HUD on your TV, all the information are displayed on the gamepad screen. Inventory management is done entirely through the pad, and it also happens to be realtime, meaning you need to stay alert for surprise attacks.To add more immersion, the gamepad's speaker will play in-game radio messages, with background sound playing through the TV speakers, this way it creates the feeling as if you are really holding the Prepper Pad.The play style is more Silent Hill than Dead Island, meaning run and gun will get you killed in no time, stay quiet and avoid detection is the best way to survive. You don't have to kill every zombie you encounter, unless they are holding item(s) of interest. The scanner on the Prepper Pad is very useful in determine where you can find items, scan ahead so you don't have to waste time on empty zombies/containers.Some say the melee in the game is repetitive and annoying, but it is actually challenging and exciting. Your melee swing is not always at the same speed, so you can't just hit the button and repeat. The enemy recovers quickly from the hit, and you have to time the swing to hit them on the spot, or they will attack you first and cancel your swing.The death mechanic is quite forgiving and unforgiving at the same time, forgiving as you can recover your lost items and continue the quest with a new character, unforgiving as you will lose your character (which will turn into a zombie if infected), your gun skills, as well as your survivor score. More interestingly, the higher the score when you died, the harder there is to kill your zombie character.As a launch title, the game did have its share of bugs and glitches, with the recent update(1.2) most of game-breaking bugs were fixed, and the patch also provided some improvements to the game's overall performance.In conclusion, ZombiU is a solid launch title for the WiiU; it is more than a tech-demo of the system, it's a complete survival package made for those who enjoy a challenge and a good scare.Sadly UBISOFT won't be making anymore of the ZombiU games, if giving the chance this game series could become the staple of the system.

ZombiU is an intensely frightening horror survival game in which the player attempts to stay alive as long as possible while exploring zombie-infested London, scavenging supplies and trying to piece together a cure by collecting the writings of 16th century occultist, John Dee, to help create what he called 'the panacea.' This is no easy feat. The game is hard...very hard. If your character dies there is no reload; no backsies. You start with a brand new character. Furthermore, if your character is bitten he or she becomes infected and rises as one of them. You'll need to go back to where your last character died and kill it in order to retrieve your gear. If you're looking for a cathartic zombie-killing first-person-shooter game with which to relax after a long day at work or school, look elsewhere. This is not the game for you.ZombiU is intense, scary, and difficult and will leave you with your hands trembling and your heart beating out of your chest. The tone of the game is very dark, grim, and suspenseful. You will often need to explore sewers and catacombs by the dim illumination of your flashlight, and danger lurks around every corner. The pace of the game is very slow; successful players will proceed cautiously, plan out every move, and know when to run. Even this is not enough to see you through. This is a game that will challenge you on all levels. Characters gain no extraordinary powers or abilities - they are ordinary people from all walks of life, and while there are weapons to be scavenged, ammunition is always in short supply. You will often be down to your trusty cricket bat to fend off the ravenous dead. If you're a horror buff with a steady hand and a cool nerve, and are up for a real challenge, ZombiU cannot be beat. It is simply outstanding. I've never seen a horror movie that is even close to being this scary. I find I often need to pause the game, put the game pad down, and take a break to calm down. But it is great fun and will remain challenging for a long time to come. So, how long will you survive?

This game isn't bad. It really is a survival horror which apparently is being lost to action games, not that I'm an authority. After about 8 hours in or so it starts to get a bit repetitive. I would wait for it to drop in price before buying it.
