This was a lifesaver for a long distance move. We put it in the cab of our uhaul and drove for 18 hours. Dogs slept the whole way, I recommend it.

This car seat/bed for small to medium sized dogs is the perfect thing for my car. I have a RAV4, and some seats are way too large to sit properly on the seats. This one is not. My dog would try to be on my lap in the car if she could, but this seat keeps her safe and out of my way. It’s nicely made. It has fairly high sides which makes my dog feel secure, and she likes resting her head on the sides. It secures to the seat with 2 loops at the back bottom that you feed the seat belt into. There are 2 adjustable straps that I attached to the seat headrest and hook onto my dog’s harness to hold her in the seat if a sudden stop is made, and to keep her far enough away from me. She likes to look out the window and I actually put a 3” foam cushion under it in order to elevate it. It is never recommended to hook onto a dog’s collar as this could strangle him. I have not tried washing this yet. I put a bath towel over it so it stays clean.

Bought this on sale for $39 I think, so good price. Maybe it's because i have arthritis, but i find it a bit hard setting it up. There are two slots on either side of the bottom of the seat, same side as loop that goes over the seat obviously, but you have to pull a lot of slack on the seat belt and then force it through both slots and then lock in the seatbelt . I seem to be the only person who has a problem! LOL. Most reviews say how easy it is.I wish the door side slot had been higher on the back of the seat, so you could pull the seat belt through at a diagonal. It takes this old lady five minutes to get it set up and almost as long to take off. (I'll add photos later!)My 11 pound cairn mini poodle mix is extremely energetic. The two straps are adjustable, but even at their smallest size, she finds a way to loop herself up -- and hit the car lock buttons and open and close the windows -- now I lock the windows on my side. I find that clipping just one strap to her collar helps her not to get tangled as much. The seat is a tad flimsy in that if she leans against a side it will give way to her weight rather than keep its square shape. If she were a nice calm dog, it would be heaven. But she's not. (When I adopted her from the pound I was told she was "an older dog with heart trouble." Great, I thought, I'm disabled. Turns out she's three with no heart problem -- she used to pace her cage so much, and hyperventilate to the point she'd almost pass out. She's fine now, just a whirling dervish.) I'd wanted a senior dog, but it's too late now because I love this one.I think this bed overall was a great deal and well worth it.Will add photos soon.

So far very pleased with this pet car seat. Super cute and super comfy for my Fur Son. He seems more secure in the car & finally stays in his seat while driving. This seat is great for small to medium sized dogs. My baby is about 14lbs. — I love the plush and quality of seat. Fabric is machine washable & fast delivery as well. Ordered on a Thursday and arrived Sunday.Love it!
