Bought as a replacement for a Menards perogala.. Didn’t want to take down with every storm and wind weatherso love that it has grommets to tie down with.. Seems to do well and hasn’t ripped yet..Bought a 8x16 which is a little to big but works, will buy 8x12 next time. Our pergola was a metal arched garden 9.5 x 9.5 backyards creation brand.

Looks great and was easy to install (using ball bungees). This along with the matching roll-down shades we already had finally made our deck a tolerable place to relax even when it's hot outside.My only complaint (although NOT enough to reduce stars) was that a couple of the grommets had holes next to them. Doesn't change the effectiveness of the shade but will ultimately effect the longevity of the product.

I used this to cover a 'peaked' pergola. I used zip ties to attach it and (right now) a rope to hold the bar in place. My deck is on the south side of my house and it's usually about 10⁰ hotter! With this cover I had great protection from the sun & heat! It was 82⁰ today, no breeze, and we sat under it to cool off while planting our garden! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!
