I am full time in my camper and I have this over my slideout that gets the afternoon sun. It has made a HUGE difference in how my air conditioner runs. I can tell a huge difference in the temperature in that area of my camper when it is 100 outside. Highly recommend!!!

I alyed it out on the top of the roof and it helped tremendously to keep the sun rays out of the covered patio. Way cooler in this 109+ degree days. Once it starts cooling I will take it with me on my rv trips to AZ and use it as a shade tarp! 👏

This is a nice big piece of aluminet for covering up a single 10x10 carport or maybe a single tent. it certainly covers 10x10 but has a little extra on side. I like to set up a 4 person tent and then have a 10x10' shade right next to it, or car camp (sleeping in my car, but still use the shade structure for relaxing in my camp chair and cooking. When I camp in very hot places aluminet is essential It lowers the ambient temp by at least 10 degrees and makes sitting around camp manageable. It also makes it possible to sleep in (a little) because the extra-cool-space-age aluminet shades way more effectively than a plain plastic shade cloth or tarp. The silver mesh reflects the sun's rays back out into the atmosphere, and also let the wind through. Letting thr wind through is important also because you don't want your shade to get caught up in the wind like a parachute and fly away, and possibly damage your camping gear or the gear of the people around you. I like that this aluminet is finished with black tape all aroud and there are gromets every so often so that you can tie this shade down. Everything appears very well made and sturdy.

I bought this light colored shade cloth because it's supposed to be reflective & block 70%. I have a black shade cloth that also blocks 70%. It is shadier & cooler under the black one. I am going to purchase another black one, I will not purchase the reflective color again
