I ordered this paddle for my wife and she really loves it. It provides more control, top spin and power. The paddle was neatly packaged and we are so pleased with it.

I've been seriously playing pickleball for a few months now and my main paddle is Vatic Pro Prism V7 (not thermoformed).So being used to the Vatic, switching to this paddle was surprisingly quick. No special adjustment needed. I could hit faster balls immediately and still be quite precise at it. The paddle surface is a bit gritty - not as much as VP - but the spin ends up being similar.Dinking was little different than fast strikes though, it has more bounce so I had to be little softer at the net.Size wise - the paddle is the same length as Vatic V7 but the hitting area is marginally smaller. The grip was way too thin and hard for me (uncomfortable edges) so I just put one of the included overgrip tapes over it for extra shock absorption and thicker grip. It is really comfy now.Bottom line - I'm staying with my Vatic so far as I'm still polishing my control game. But this TA-16 paddle is definitely becoming my number 2 as I like how it makes me a more offensive player. Will be great for firefights.

Paddle too ridgid, gives no bounce at all. Like hiting with a fence post.I have 3 other paddles that have varying degrees of "pop" and response, no offence to manufacturer but this paddle has none of the above.

This paddle has a small sweet spot and not a lot of power. As an intermediate player (4.0) who has used a lot of paddles, my son did not like the way this felt or played, and it is not because of the style of paddle, as he plays regularly with this style. The only real upside of this paddle is that it is very maneuverable. I, personally, improved my game by playing with a very similar paddle to work on my control and then switched. If you are having difficulty maneuvering your current paddle and need to gain some more precision and control, this might be a good in-between paddle for you.

I bought this paddle as a back-up to another edgeless paddle I own and thoroughly enjoy playing with. It looked like a great deal with a strikingly similar profile to mine and the entire package seemed too good to not try. When I got it, I was a bit disappointed. It's face (surfac area) is smaller my current and other comparable paddles. The handle is shorter too. It is incredibly light, though it looks well manufactured.Despite the grit on the surface, the paddle felt like a toy and felt very flimsy. I was able to get a good spin response (top, back andcside) but the control, in my opinion, was so bad that I had mis-hits that I don't normally encounter when playing. After 2 games with this paddle, I put it aside and returned to my primary paddle. I'm suspicious about whether this is actually USA pickle ball approved anyone can put a stamp on a paddle but where's the proof?No. I do not recommend this paddle to anyone serious about the sport.

This makes it easier to maneuver and is ideal for quick movements and ball control.• The precise flatness produced by the thermoforming provides a predictably smooth surface for the ball to hit.• Additional thickness of the core (16 mm vs 14 mm) allows the paddle to better absorb vibration, also improving predictability of your shot.• The grippiness of the carbon fibre face makes it easier to generate spin and control shot trajectory.• Expanding foam on the perimeter of paddle alters the distribution of weight to create a larger sweet spot.• The weight and traditional shape are both designed to provide a versatile mix of power versus control.• This paddle has an edge guard for durability although some players would prefer an edgeless design for a larger hitting area.Whether this is the perfect paddle for you depends upon your preferred playing style, and this is obviously not the ideal paddle for someone whose preference is power. It is also net recommended for novices due to the high-friction surface.Thermoformed paddles are justifiably increasing in their popularity. The big question for me is whether this Vispinvo merits its current $150 price tag. Thermoforming is a more expensive manufacturing than cold-pressing, but I have seen a thermoformed paddle very similar to this for $60. The only difference I could see was that one had an edge guard and the other didn’t. Whether this paddle is worth $90 over and above the other thermoformed paddle is going to be buried so deep in the details that I can’t even see it. It’s not even guaranteed that this Vispinvo paddle is in any way superior to the one costing $90 less.An improvement they should have made to this paddle would have been to upgrade the face to T-800 carbon fibre which is a superior grade of carbon fibre over T-700. T-800 has 20% higher tensile strength over T-700, meaning it's more resistant to being pulled or stretched apart. This translates to a stiffer paddle that can generate more powerful shots. In a paddle with so many accommodations for control, the addition of an element providing greater power is especially important. T-800 simultaneously provides improved control and allows the paddle to be even lighter. The greater wear-resistance of T-800 will also enable a paddle maintain its performance for a longer period. Although T-800 is more expensive, I have seen thermoformed paddles using it that cost less than $ 115.Since I can’t see the value for the money- and I’m not saying it’s not there- I can only give this paddle 4 stars.

This is a good paddle that is lightweight and easy to swing. The edgeless design gives you just a little more area for striking the ball but hitting in the middle is still a good idea. This paddle is well packaged and makes a good gift. It includes a cover, extra handle tape and rubber bands as well as a paddle cleaner that reminds me of a magic eraser.

Busy looking but plays well for an edgeless. Have added weight and found this with Overgrip to be very good. Mishits do not spray and the technology like being thermoformed keeps it happy. If want power and. control this is for you....

I have been playing pickleball regularly for about a year. I have tried several different paddles and definitely like the edgeless paddles the best. This set came with grip tape, OverGrip tape, 2 rubber bands, a paddle eraser as well as the paddle and cover. I like the feel of the handle on this paddle as it fits my grip well. The paddle is built with thermoformed technology and is USAPA approved. The paddle has a slightly different shape and is larger at the top and slightly smaller at the bottom. It has a gritty surface which has made it a little easier to learn how to spin the ball. This paddle is slightly lighter than my previous paddle which makes it a little easier for me to control the paddle. It seems to have a larger sweet spot than my current paddle as well. Overall, I am very please with this paddle as it seems to have taken my game up a notch.
