My wife got this for her Harry Potter themed room.Of note, it does not have a regular switch. It has one of those step on buttons. We didn't want that but we just velcro'd the button to the side the desk there and it's easier than reaching for a light switch.

The item arrived very quickly. I put the lamp together. The stand is heavy enough not to tip over easily. The lanterns have a very cheap look and feel to them and one of them did not even work. I did not figure out how to change the bulb. I boxed the lamp back up and will return it for a refund. It was too pricey for the quality of the item. I do not recommend this item. I was very disappointed with the lamp. Also, the light does not dim, only on and off on the switch.

Product showed up in a single box and took about 2-5 minutes to assemble. The cord runs through the whole structure and they just screw into place. Base is heavy and sturdy, so it should not tip. Brightness and dimming are great also. We got the Copper one and wish it could dim a little lower then 50% but it’s still very nice!

So my husband made fun on my “Paul Revere Lamp” when I unboxed it. I was a little leery because it said on the listing that this is a frequently returned item…. I can’t imagine why! It is very sturdy to be so light, easy to use, and so pretty! I do wish it had a remote control, but the floor switch works fine. Overall I highly recommend!
