Worked well on 2012 RX350. You need to fully lift and support the hood with a 2x4 or other rigid support first. Disconnect upper connection first as it will allow you to rotate the lower connection (which is in a depression) toward the middle of the engine to better expose the retainer clip. Recommend using a very small flat screwdriver to extract the clips--you do not need to fully remove them. New connections just snap in place. I would add small amount of grease to ends first. Do not remove support 2x4 until both sides are complete. Should not take more than 5 minutes per side.

Replaced struts on 2012 Lexus RX 350 with these a few months ago. Easy install. Lifts and drops rear tailgate with no problems.

Good works wonderful...be aware the tips are in a small bag separate from the struts..don't panic.its in the separate bag
