I have been using this for almost ten days. It would be a great little USB-C hub except that the USB-C cable receptacles aren't tight enough. Ergo, the cables keep unpluging with the slightest movement. I plug the same cables directly into my MBPs or any other device, and its a good, secure fit.

So far, it works fine. I have not used it with more than 2 things plugged in yet, but so far, there’s no issues. I like its small size.

Works very well, but the Quality Built Is Super Extra Cheap!I put a two sided tape on the back and was left with the cover.Now the cover won't stay!Shows the board has literally no solder on the USB connectors, what a sham!I want want my money back for the covers that came off. I purchased 4 all together!Is a limit to cutting corners!

I'm updating my previous review that said the product (hub) did not recognize devices. I tinkered with the plugs and eventually the devices showed up on my Mac. So, I'm good to go.

I purchased a USB 3.1 Type C to 4-Port USB 3.0 HUB.Finding the right USB hub might be confusing. What it comes down to is asking yourself what do you need it to do? This one is very basic as you would expect for This is a single USB-C connector without a separate power supply making it suitable for devices that have lower power requirements - i.e., USB peripherals like keyboards, mice, game controllers, and flash drives. Because it splits a single port power source (900mA) shared by four ports, it is not designed to run harddrives - much better to plug those into the base port(s) instead or else get a powered USB hub. That's not to imply it cannot successfully work with external harddrives, one drive should be fine, but it's not the intended use for this hub and could be erratic... I'm just saying if you want to run multiple devices drawing high power from a single hub you need a powered hub and this isn't the one.

Use case: I bought this to turn the one USB C port on the back of my Alienware 15 R3 into four USB 3.0 ports.Pros: The best things about this hub are its tiny size and understated appearance. It works flawlessly for simple tasks such as USB audio, mouse dongles, etc... The build quality doesn't appear questionable.Caveat: I have no idea whether the transfer speeds on high performance use cases (such as transferring large files via an external drive) are competitive with larger alternatives. Some of these hubs are vastly superior to others for that purpose.Conclusion: If you want something simple, understated and cheap, this is a great choice (at least for the use cases described above).

Here I have listed its pros and cons of ICZI 3-Port USB 3.0 Hub:Pros:- Fast shipping from the seller and got this delivered within a week of ordering with great and minimal packaging- One of the best addition to my gadgets- I have just one USB 3.0 port and 2 USB 2.0 ports in my laptop- This adapter adds 3 USB 3.0 ports to my laptop which is great- Compatible with both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports- Great quality and looks durable- Compact, not heavy and easy to carry- Faster data transfer and no lag is noticed- Can also be used to charge phones without any issues- No software installation required; can be used within seconds of connecting this to the laptop'- Reliable till nowCons:- None as of nowImprovements suggested:- 2 more USB 3.0 ports can be introduced on the other side of the adapterI will continue to use this hub in the coming days and will update this review if I find any other issues.
