First, know going in these are NOT rock sliders. They bolt to the body, not the frame. They are however, extremely well made and heavy duty side step/nerf bars that could probably take a pretty good smack before causing damage to your vehicle. They provide an excellent step for roof access, or for people to get into and out of your truck. Also they appear due to their profile and height to provide excellent door ding protection from morons. If your use case puts your truck on trails where you'll risk hitting rocks with your rocker panels, get sliders, period. If your use case is looking for a heavy duty step, door ding protection, protecting your vehicle from rocks & debris thrown up from your tires, and want a slider look, then look no further as I doubt you'll find a better product. I'm off road on forest service and blm dirt and gravel roads all the time. I don't rock crawl or extreme 4x4 in my daily driver. These fit my use case. Packaging was incredibly careful. Heavy cardboard box, bubble wrap, styrofoam blocks, end cap protection and mounting bracket protection. Hardware was in its own box and bags. Instructions were clear. These bolted right up to my 2023 Tacoma TRD OR with zero fitment issues. Pro tip, the box is the perfect height to use as a jack stand to hold each bar in place easily to get the first bolt loosely started. Start with the middle outboard bolt. Continue with the other 5 so they are all loosely started. Once on the truck push the bars inboard all the way and check alignment. Snug middle outboard bolt to lock in place. Finish snugging the remaining bolts. Torque to included spec with torque wrench. I also used blue locktight on the threads. Total time from starting unpackaging to taking photo was less than an hour, totally taking my time. Would buy again.My ONLY gripe is the name and stars cutout on the step fill plates. I think it looks cheap and stupid. Going to cover those areas with 4" wide skateboard tape from Lowe's. They really aren't that noticeable when mounted on the truck, but I'm covering them anyways.

It feels well built and easy to install with just one person. It looks good too. Tyger sidesteps and running boards have been surprising me. I initially thought it was junk until a customer of mine insisted on Tyger steps. The coating seems to be good too. Now too see how long it'll last.

I installed these on my 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road double cab. They arrived in four days as promised, were well packaged, and had no shipping damage. All parts were accounted for.Installation was easy, you just need a good socket wrench. Front, center, and rear brackets attach to the truck first, then you lay the boards on the brackets, attach the short bolt plates in the channel under the boards, position properly, and bolt to the brackets. All bolts, washers, and nuts are included but they give you exactly the number you need, no extras so don't misplace any of them or you'll be making a trip to the hardware store! Fit was perfect with the 2016 mounting locations.As other reviewers have stated, these install up close to the body of the truck and they look great, no gap. The textured finish provides a grippy stepping surface and that was the big selling point for me.Time will tell how they hold up to the elements but they appear to be well manufactured. They have some weight to them. I was originally looking at GoRhino with the bed liner coating but they are twice the cost and frankly I'm a lite use driver. I'm not going off road, climbing mountains, or going over boulders like in the commercials (with professional drivers) so these should hold up fine for my daily use.Customer Service: I emailed their support team and got a timely response although they didn't really answer my questions at first, I had to email again and then they replied with the information I was looking for.But overall I'm satisfied with the purchase and they were on sale when I bought them. Recommended overall and they are a quality alternative to the higher priced Go Rhino's.Update December 19, 2023. The running boards have been performing admirably after a year of use. The finish has held up with no signs of wear or rust. Still very satisfied with the purchase and have received a lot of compliments on how they look on the Tacoma!

My only complaint was the packaging. I believe the UPS man used these bars for a couple rounds of pole vaulting before delivering it to me because boy was it was mess of ripped cardboard, water was flooded inside, and packaging was blown across my front door step. But this was all okay, because these bars were made for it.Fit like a glove for my 2019 Toyota Tacoma. Brackets & bolt holes lined up and was able to install myself in just under half an hour. Solid, sleek, and is very purposeful. After 2 years of having this product installed, I can proudly say, I have had ZERO issues. These guys held up GREAT through the Midwest salty winters and all of it's wonders. I've had multiple people stand on it, jump, and still is as sturdy as the day it was installed. I've banged up against the rails, hit them multiple times on multiple occasions, and there is absolutely no damage, dents, paint chips, or rust. The coating that they used on these bars are fantastic. This product has another hidden feature that is not mentioned, but these bars stick out just far enough to protect you against DOOR DINGS! Truly a great product. I would not hesitate to purchase these again for another future vehicle of mine.2 1/2 Year Update: Paint is starting to chip off the bars and is starting to rust pretty bad in one area :(Still, not a complaint. I got a good solid 2 years out of these guys and they went through every season looking pretty. Still, would have been nice to get at least 4-5 years out of these, but for the price, I still like them. I do believe they will last that long, just will be a little ugly. I still suggest them!

A bit high for running boards but they look fantastice and you wont get any door di gs with these on. May rub back of pants when exiting if not carfull but well worth it.

I purchase these for my 2015 Tacoma. Well packaged for shipping. Easy install. Both sides lined up perfect. Only took a hour to put on. Great look, way better then the factory steps that came on truck from Toyota.

Very well packaged, took longer to get rid of the packaging than it did to install. Very easy install.Seems high quality.Didn't like the stars and logo when I ordered them, but you can't really see them when installed. They blend in with the rest of the step.Overall pretty happy. Doesn't make a good step (it's too high) but should make a good door ding protector.

Once installed found that they looked great, well shipped but extremely slow. Driver’s side went on quickly & easy by myself. The other side I needed some help. It went on fairly easy then but one bolt hole did not line up @ the front end. It is still missing that bolt. Later we are going to drill the hole a little bigger. Hence the 4 vice 5.

I'm impressed with the build and finish of this product. They look great on my truck and seem to be very well made. Here are a couple things to help your decision making easier:1. If you're buying this to help with access to the truck because you're short, they really don't sit much lower than the door sills. If anything, they'd be helpful to stand on if you are trying to access cargo on the roof. They don't sit low like running boards typically would.2. Since these sit higher than typical running boards, they do not compromise overall ground clearance. The frame of the truck actually sits slightly lower than these bars.3. Installation was very easy. Toyota already has all the mounting holes prepped on the truck so all you have to do is remove the plugs and use a 13mm ratchet to install. Everything lined up perfectly and I was able to install each one in less than 15 minutes by myself. All hardware was included.Note**The first time I ordered these, they came damaged. The packing protection was not done well and they rubbed on each other during shipping, removing some of the finish. I contacted the company who stated I needed to return them through Amazon since they were sold by Amazon. I processed an exachange order and Amazon shipped me a new pair shortly thereafter. I shipped them back my originals with their prepaid label and everything is fine now. The only pain in the process was repackaging the old ones for shipping and dropping them off at UPS.
