Oh, let me tell you, if there's one thing that used to put a damper on our idyllic evenings at the cabin deck by the glorious Potomac, it was the relentless aerial assault of every flying, buzzing, and biting critter imaginable. We're talking full-on skirmishes against squadrons of mosquitoes, kamikaze moths, and whatever other tiny terrors decided our cozy spot was prime real estate. But folks, those days are OVER, thanks to my new deck superhero: the Solar Bug Zapper Outdoor!Seriously, this little gadget is a game-changer of epic proportions. First off, let's talk about the sheer joy of its cordless nature. No more tripping over wires or hunting for an elusive outdoor outlet! This zapper is like a solar-powered ninja, silently charging up during the day under the sun's golden rays, ready to spring into action as soon as twilight hits. It's rechargeable and totally self-sufficient, meaning zero fuss for us. Just set it, forget it, and let Mother Nature do the heavy lifting. And for those of us who live life a little on the wild side (or, you know, just by a river where weather can be a mood-swinging teenager), the waterproof design is a dream come true. A sudden summer shower? No sweat! This zapper stands tough, shrugging off the elements like a champ. It's built to last, which means more bug-free enjoyment for many seasons to come.My absolute favorite feature, though, has to be the Auto On/Off mode. It’s pure magic! As the sun dips below the tree line, casting those gorgeous cabin glow, the zapper quietly, almost magically, illuminates and starts its vital work. Then, with the first blush of dawn, it gracefully powers down. It’s the ultimate set-it-and-forget-it convenience, giving us more time for marshmallow roasting and less time swatting. (Though, if you're a control freak like me sometimes, there's always the Manual Mode for hands-on bug-zapping glory!)But the real magic happens when you realize what this "Flying Insect Zapper Mosquito Killer Lamp Catcher" actually does. Our deck, which once felt like an all-you-can-eat buffet for bugs, is now a serene sanctuary. We've had so many incredible nights out there already, enjoying the river breezes and the sound of cicadas (the non-biting kind!), all thanks to this brilliant device. It’s like a little invisible force field that keeps the winged invaders at bay, letting us truly unwind and soak in the cabin vibes. If you're tired of being the main course at your own outdoor gathering, do yourself a massive favor and grab one of these. It’s not just a bug zapper; it’s a ticket to stress-free, bite-free, and utterly delightful outdoor living!

Install it in the morning and let it charge for the whole day. And it works really well after it turned on at night, it does keep the mosquitoes away. I had a wired one but it is so inconvenient, unlike the wireless one which I can place it anywhere. It looks great and quiet.

This bug light has been working great for my front yard. It fully recharges in about 3.5 hours when plugged in, and the solar panel on top is a nice bonus that keeps it going during the day so it doesn’t need to be recharged often. It had both an always on option and automatic option. It comes with four adjustable parts so you can customize the height depending on where you’re using it along with mounting screws if that works better for your situation. The light does a good job of keeping the bugs at bay and puts out just enough brightness without being too harsh. It’s reliable, light weight, simple design, easy to use, and a great pick if you want something that works even if you haven’t had too much sun during rainy season.

There are a lot of mosquitoes in the yard in summer. This solar mosquito killer is particularly suitable for hanging in the yard. I hope it can work.

I got this at 2 pm and hooked it up installed on the post. The first night it already had gone on so I got enough solar power from 2 PM until Desk to run for at least a couple of hours. I think I went to bed at 10 PM and it was still on. So far so good no mosquitoes were hanging out and it’s been raining a lot so it’s a good testimony.. it looks nice. I’m going to see how one does and if it works well enough on its own then I’ll just leave it but if I think I could use another one or two for the other end of the patio, I’ll buy this brand.

Worked for a few months and slowly dimmed. At some point rain got in it and it won’t come out. Won’t light up, but can hear it try to start up when power button is pressed. It doesn’t attract nearly as many bugs as it should and when it was working I’ve watched bugs touch the zapping part several times and not even react. For the price I expected a lot better quality and effectiveness.

This solar-powered bug zapper has truly impressed me with both its functionality and versatility. It's incredibly easy to use—completely cordless and lightweight, so I can insert it directly into the soil wherever I plan to sit in the patio. The design is compact but sturdy, and it blends in nicely with outdoor décor.I really like that it offers both automatic on/off functionality and a manual mode, which gives me more control depending on how and when I want to use it. The built-in rechargeable solar panel is a great feature, and I haven’t had to worry about plugging it in or replacing batteries. Despite its small footprint, it’s surprisingly effective at keeping mosquitoes and flying insects away, which makes my outdoor evenings much more enjoyable.Overall, a well-thought-out and practical product—I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a low-maintenance, portable solution for insect control.

Honestly, it works great, charges really well and holds the charge. It’s just the high-pitched constant noise that’s driving me insane.

This mosquito zap is easy to setup, by simply stacking into the ground or to hang on to a wall. It has a nice outlook, with a modern and compact design so it could be installed as part of the backyard decoration. I like the cordless part and eco friendly in saving energy. The solar panel efficiently charges up during the day and can keep the zapper function throughout the night. Its good quality should have no problem to withstand outdoor environment and weather conditions. It works awesome in getting rid of the bugs in the backyard. So far am satisfied with this product.

Bought this bug zapper 10 days ago to get rid of mosquitoes and other bugs, because my back yard was always full of mosquitoes and black flies in summer time. It works well and does kill a lot of mosquitoes so I could do more gardening work easily. I also like the solar charging feature so I don't have to charge it manually every day. It would be nice if it could be more water proof so it would not be filled with water though, but you got what you paid for. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and price.

just brought it in for the winter and used it summer/fall. i know it's effective as when i went out in the evenings to the backyard i wasn't swarmed or bitten up by mosquitos. still a few but not as bad as before. i'll buy another for next summer/fall so hopefully it will rid almost all mosquitos with 2 or maybe 3 of these set up around the deck.
