This a great alternative to a plastic bowl! Well made, easy to clean and sanitize. The bowl is light weight so it’s easy to travel with too. The bowl is super durable and I think it will last for years. Great for my dog who is about 15 pounds.

I am reviewing the Slow Feeder Dog Bowl Stainless Steel, Metal Slow Feeder Dog Bowl for Dog Slow Eating....This is a great slow feeder. I have tested a few of them now, and I have to say, this one is my favorite one. The size is perfect for my medium sized Doodle, and it does help to slow down his feeding habits. The best part about this one is that it is stainless steel. Nothing says clean better than stainless steel. It is well made, and is strong enough not to bend, and can withstand chewing... Overall a great product for the cost, and I will recommend it to others.

It is better than the plastic one purchased, the only improvement I can see is the compartments should be a little deeper, it only holds 1 cup barely....

This bowl is ok. My dog eats out of it with no concerns. It does slow her down but, barely - maybe by about 20 seconds. The quality is just ok. It's pretty thin metal and it comes with little stick on feet you have to apply yourself to keep it from skidding around on the floor. If you have a dog that eats so fast it makes them sick, it might help a bit but, it doesn't seem to slow my dog down dramatically.

I had high hopes for this large stainless steel slow feeder bowl, but it fell short in several ways. The ridges inside the bowl are far too shallow to effectively slow down my dog’s eating, which makes it feel more like a regular bowl than a proper slow feeder. In addition, it slides around on hard floors during mealtime, which is frustrating for both me and my dog. While the manufacturer includes 3M non-slip pads to stick on the bottom, they do very little to prevent the bowl from moving. To make matters worse, the pads start peeling off when the bowl is washed in the dishwasher, making it inconvenient to clean.Overall, the bowl looks nice and is made from quality materials, but its poor design and lack of functionality make it a disappointing choice for slowing down fast eaters.

I've got the kind of horse-like dog who will eat an entire Mc Double tossed his way out of the air in one bite (not that any of my irresponsible friends have ever tried this). If you don't fill this to the top, it does a decent job of making the dog work to get all the dry food out. You can audibly tell it's working; with a flat bowl the dog makes a slightly weezy and sloppy sound like he's lapping up water. You can hear him being a meatball and inhaling rather than chewing. With the slow feeder, there's more moving the bowl around and trying to get the food, less wheezing.I'm going to try others to find what works best for his massive size and stubborn personality, but this is already a pretty good improvement.

I've been looking for a metal slow feeder bowl for a while. My dog chews everything and the only slow feeders I could find were plastic, which he ended up chewing. So this is a 10/10 for me

I ordered this slow feeder to replace my longtime one, which is coated plastic and sometimes hard to clean, from a well-known dog accessory brand. I was excited about the stainless steel design, expecting it to be easier to clean. However, the divots are too shallow, causing the kibble to spill into each other and blend together, defeating the purpose of slow feeding.Addendum: I believe the sticky pads are meant to go on the round divots, matching the number of stickers provided, but this isn’t obvious; I initially had it upside down! With no photo or instructions included, it’s impossible to tell, and even the product photos don’t clarify. How hard would it have been to include a simple diagram? Unreal. For this lack of clarity, I’m still giving it 1 star. I asked others, and they were confused too. 👎
