Installed this on a Leer truck cap. The struts fits the mounts very well. The only thing I noticed how strong these struts are. The resistance when closing the glass door is too strong. I was afraid the glass door would break when pushing on middle of the door to close it. I have to pull on both bottom left and right corners of the window (near the mounts for the struts) to avoid applying too much pressure on the glass window and keep it from flexing so as not to break it.I am hoping for the resistance to decrease over time. These struts may be good for hood and trunk doors that are mostly made of metal. I do not recommend these for use on tempered glass doors.
