well it was time to change my trunk lift after it hit my head when i was loading groceries. really unsafe for the kids to reach in and get their backpacks or my wife using the car with old struts.a quick YouTube search and you'll find how to remove and install them easily. it took me 5 minutes for each one if that. once I got the new struts in I realize how weak the old ones were. the old ones I have to lift with a good amount of force and then push it all the way up so it would stay up. these new ones I have to be careful and gently guide it up or it has too much force and it actually shakes the car going upwards.easy install, perfect fit, great replacement.

The struts were fine but had to re-use the old clips because these new ones bent too easy.

The original gas struts had lost too much pressure and the hatch lid kept hitting my wife in the head in cold weather. Hubby to the rescue! It was a 15 minute job requiring only a common screwdriver. I recommend checking the short youtube video. They are still working after 3 weeks.
