Father instructed me to buy this part. Hasn’t used it yet, but contrary to what most reviews say, it does come with the valve (thin skinny piece) as shown in picture

Older tank of R134A. Had thrown out an older set of gauges and bought new set. Yellow fill hose only had 1/4 SAE female ends. Tank had 1/2 AMCE male. This adapter worked perfectly to allow me to use the newer gauge set.
