Bought 8 of these for 2 Vacuflush toilets. Installed them and immediately had slow vacuum leak-down problems with both toilets. A month of analysis and multiple rebuilds didn't help. Bought OEM (Dometic) duckbills from Marine Sanitation in Seattle. Problem was cured immediately.The durometer of rubber on these Amazon duckbills seems much softer than the Dometic valves. Also, the slit in the bill is centered in the Amazon bills but is asymmetrical on the Dometic (effect unknown).

These valves are made from just the right material thickness to perform well and not invert themselves when facing high pressure or temperatures. Yet to try the orange gold standard ones mind

Installed today and doesn't work. It's worse than the old duck bill valves.

This spring I decided to redo my dometic toilet system as the hoses were starting to deteriorate so new hose new duckbills right?WRONG......These duckbills lasted only 4 weeks in service before completely failing. Vacu flush toilets do not work with out the vacuum. The Dometic valves I replace were 10 years old and never leaked. So a word to the wise, do NOT buy these duckbills for a Dometic toiled system, pay the extra and buy dometic.

Used along with a new Bellows assembly to rebuild an older vacuum flush S pump. Didn't have to drive to get them for full price.
