Once you watch a YouTube video on replacing these you wonder why you put up with juggling to keep the hatch open properly. Done in 10 minutes after delivery and they are firm in keeping the tail door up.

These worked great with my '05 Xterra. The lift strength is good and the gate requires very little effort to open. Hopefully they hold up over time.

Good value, perfect fit on my ‘07 XTerra, and easy install. YouTube videos available to see the ‘how-to’. Expand the 4 clips (with small flathead screwdriver or needle nose pliers), included with the product, snap on and you’re done. Took 6min to do. Keeps liftgate wide open. Definitely recommend.

You can NOT GO WRONG on these! the factory replacements are EXPENSIVE from ANY ONE ELSE!! get THESE and put them on. takes about ten minutes and they are well made and should last a long time. BUT, even if they dont... they are SO CHEAP that you can buy a second set and still pay WAY LESS than one set of replacements from anyone else. i highly recommend them. been using them a while now and they work perfectly.

I've been looking for the last 2 weeks and on my local retail stores the best they have is $80 for 2 and they were really cheap quality on Amazon I got it for $23 and I was very surprised when I open the package extremely well quality while build good materials used install very easy and hold my very heavy trunk on my Nissan Xterra
