What i didn't like was these were too short, other than that they seem to hold the weight well, just too short.

These are great alternative replacements for the OEM electric struts for the 2014, Toyota, Rav4, LimitedI. I have to agree with others that have purchased these, They lift the tailgate to a height that's about 2" too short, as they do not open to the previous clearance that the OEM units provided. If you 6' or taller, you may want to purchase struts, with the same weight lifting capabilities that are about 1/2" longer.

I didn't try put it now bcoz still waiting this summer to install it.. I hope this is better than the old liftgate hatch trunk ..

Works perfect! The tailgate doesn't lift as high as the liftgate assist (a few inches) but compared to 1000$ from the dealership, it's great

I am very happy with these tailgate supports !They work great ! and they were easy to fit too !Very good product and I am very pleased to have purchased them .They fit my wife's Toyota Rav 4 2013 very well .Yes I would buy them again if I needed to, and the price was right too !

Excellent instructions. 15 minutes, start to finish. Don't bother with bad springs another day. It's just too easy to fix.
