fits well and adds extra support compared to my older OEM lift struts that were worn out after 28 years and starting to sag. however, the paint (powder coat?) on the hinges seems to be pretty low quality. Its already started to show signs of rust after only a couple of months. If I had known this would happen, I would have given them an extra coat of paint or two to give them better sealing. I will be coating the hinges with fluidfilm in the meantime to slow down any further development of rust. I would still would recommend buying anyways if you keep hitting your head on the rear gate... much easier to source that new OEM from japan.
