When I bought my house, the metal was bent inward making the sliding door lock useless. This works like a charm! I used a 1/8” drill bit for the screw holes. Perfection!

It’s strong and durable I put it in my slider doorway and it worked exactly like I needed it too to put on a manufactured lock on a slider is very expensive. This was a much cheaper fix, very pleased.

Fit the door frame exactly the same as the factory latch plate. Some aftermarket brands are off-spec, but this fit exactly as it should on this sliding door frame. Metal is stiff, as it should be, and doesn’t warp when screwed into the door frame
