I bought a competing brand’s lock and returned that one because if someone pushed on the door it popped out of the lock slot and opened. I replaced that with this brand’s lock and it works perfectly! U screw in small screws (provided) on the other end into the slot between the door frame and door, and that’s it. Super simple and took all of 1 min. Lock works well and doesn’t pop open if someone pushes on the bedroom door.

This little device has given me a little bit more piece of mind with a wondering toddler who has mastered deadbolts. Easy to install and matches the rest of the door hardware perfectly.

These are perfect unobtrusive additional security against unauthorized access. Also provides peace of mind that a key cannot open the door when you don't want it opened. This attribute is helpful when your house is on the market and realtors have access to the key. It was very effective at keeping our little escape artist grandchild in the house. No damage to doors and just a quick two screws to install.

Simplest and most effective way to get lock a toddler out of a door. I painted white to match my trim with a rattle can of Krylon. Simple install, hardware included.Would be nice if they had available left hand and right models specifically. As opposed to this ambidextrous model. Not having this makes it a little more difficult;t when open and closing the latch as you have to hit the middle of the keeper to lock and unlock.Looks better than a 10 penny nail bent over the door, (what I had working against me as a child)!

My 2.5 yr. old grandson can easily open up deadbolt locks & walk outside!! Scary!! I bought this lock for the front door of my apartment, which ensures that that will never happen! I installed it very quickly & easily, without even using a drill. It is the greatest invention ever!! It will be many years before he ever comes close to figuring out how to climb up & undo this lock. Also, it doesn't just flip open, you have to lift up the "flap" & line it up with the hinge to open it (easy for adults, not so easy for kids)... PLUS you can install it as high-up as you choose, to be more easily out of reach. My daughter is going to get these for doors at her house, too, such as the door to the basement, etc. I HIGHLY recommend this lock!!
