So I bought this because I wanted to protect my gear, The Rane 72 mixer and the two Rane 12s. I received it and it was extremely heavy. Soon as put the gear in I notice the weight and immediately repackaged it for return. Well I was expecting a full return, but the the Amazon vendor charged me around $60 for a restocking fee. I am not pleased with this as I only had it for a day before starting the return process. The definition says full return within 30 days, no mention of a restocking fee. Be careful and understand the full return policy. I will not be purchasing anything from this vendor, Spreetail in the future. If I could them 0 stars I would. Besides that the unit looked very good, just to heavy for my stature.

Way better than I expected! Also, for anyone wondering because there are mixed pictures online.. Yes it does include the lid! The lid also hinges off and can be tucked under the top part for elevated use. Only criticism, the buckles are kinda weak but for home use, totally fine.

i bought this a few years ago and i still use it to this day.dont scoff at it just cuz its wooden...thats the best part. i drilled holes in the front for my mixers headphone ports.added wheels to the ends that i couldnt do if it wasnt a wooden case.i added different handles to accommodate my way of carrying the case.and for around $100... c'mon man, it dont get any better than that
