Nice solid pattern EVA ! Love the brushed look and uniform thickness. This is nice design , while I love the slatboard and other cut patterns , this design maintains the total 2 layer thickness across the ENTIRE surface creating a smooth , FLAT, and attractive surface that will not collect debris. I my opinion this type of panel is easier to clean as far as sweeping and rinse off is concerned. The single height surface also makes this a great EVA to do walls and cabinets bottoms in an RV , boat etc.. - I was looking at using the plank type to do the upper walls in our rv due to how easy it is to cut to shape around the windows and doors -AND -for the thermal break qualities EVA provides. This flat brushed type made me so happy we haven't had time to start that project yet!! The grooves were secretly bothering me in the rv.. they way they would look on our round window corners and create little bug hiding spots- something I've been trying to eliminate during this renovation (shocked at all the insect cocoons, bodies , and debris found within the walls and crevices when we gutted it) Its been nice to rebuild it ourselves and seal everything up at each step. So even though a liked the slat look on the walls it was interfering with the plan to eliminate hiding and egress holes - uneven surfaces etc.. This brushed design came along at the perfect time whew! Our new floors are waterpoorf vinyl plank in a blue/ grey wood look so this dark grey is perfect ! The brush pattern travels the length -and we will use this in up down direction so it will have vertical brushed pattern with no seams on the sides inbetween the windows - most of the rv is windows from 36inches and up. This is a huge improvemnt of materials over the supercthin plywood/ paperboard/ vinyl wood wood looking wall paper that was in here. This Eva will not separate from moisture, absorb moisture or ever be wet.. even if the roof leaks at some point!! And it is insulative as a thermal break -blocking the heat from the aluminum framing from coming through - despite foam filled cavities the aluminum frame gets very warm - with the solid surface we will benefit from the full thickness across the wall which will provide better thermal benefits! Super excited about this!! May add this to our cupboards in the rv as well.
