Just get it clampped on your bed side to enjoy movie time. A large enough swivel head makes it easier to clamp the tabletop and can also be fixed more tightly.

I really like this design but after about six months the knob to tighten the mount makes a clicking sound and doesn’t hold the projector up anymore. There needs to be a rubber gasket against the ball bearing for added friction because this metal on metal design doesn’t work for long.

We wanted to attach a projector to a ledge and this did a reasonable job. However, we did notice that the ball parts of the mechanism were a little loose, this meant initially it would move back each time we adjusted it. But we were able to fix that by inserting a piece of rubber band inside to help improve the contacts. Now it hold up our projector perfectly.
