Self-tapping screw mode reduces walking when self-tapping screws as well as reduces overdriving, breaking and stripping out screws. Best decision I’ve ever made. Forget the hand tools! This thing kicks time in half! Wish it had 2 batteries but I’ll just have to get another. The battery that comes with it does hold a charge for many uses but one for each tool would be great. Highly recommend this!

I've actually being using this quite a bit more than my usual M18 counterpart, its small size and lightweight design make it incredibly easy to maneuver, especially in tight spaces where the bulkier M18 driver struggles. Despite its compact build the hydraulic Surge technology delivers smooth, quiet, and consistent power with less vibration than the M18. Whether you’re working overhead, in cabinets, or in tight corners, this tool’s versatility and ease of use make it an absolute must-have for pros and DIYers alike.
