This has turned out to be one of my favorite purchases… but I wasn’t sure of it at first. After the first few rains, it was sagging bad: it made sense since the rain weighed it down (although most of it was easily able to drip off/through the mesh). So I strongly recommend using the strings equipped with this product to readjust the tightness after the first rain or so (maybe even subsequent ones)But once you have it tight, it’s incredible. It doesn’t provide 100% relief from the sun, but it reduces the heat significantly and provides a nice glow.It’s big too! Awesome product

I’m sitting here on my deck, in a light drizzle, in the middle of a pandemic, grilling chicken. I look up and see this sunshade that I bought almost 3 years ago, keeping me dry and I thought, you know... I should review this while I wait for my chicken to reach my desired medium rare temperature.So here I am. Fulfilling my destiny.Let me start by saying this thing is definitely durable. I live in Ohio. I have never taken this thing down. I’ve seen this thing with enough snow to crush a family on top of it. Not a SINGLE hole, saggy spot, weak looking spot, spot I’d think twice about, nothing. The rings are also just as strong as when I got it!Next, let’s talk about the color. I picked red. Which is a hard pigment to retain color. This thing is still red! Definitely not as red as when I bought it, but it has been in every weather condition AND a pandemic!Just buy it already!

I ordered these to cover my pond from the hot Las Vegas sun. Install is a little tricky and you want to make sure you have it to where you can evenly tighten all corners. I used rope to test out my connecting points before finalizing the hooks, wire ropes, and turnbuckles. Turnbuckles are a must for getting it tight and will make it easier to take down during extreme winds although we had crazy winds last night that turned over umbrellas and plants but my sails are still fine. This brand is the best quality of any that I ordered. Luckily the 16.5 was my first so when I ordered a second one and third one from two other companies I was able to see the big difference and returned both. I settled on the second smaller one which is 12 x 12 and I really needed 14 x 14 but I only would use this Love Story brand after seeing the alternatives.Update!! April 2021 just put my sails up for the season. Threw the big in the washer on delicate and no dry and then put them up and they look brand new. They’ve been through two hot summers and hardly faded. Definitely would buy again and again.
