We ordered this as a cover for our small pond. It was getting too much direct sunlight causing lots of algae to grow - so we ordered this for some shade. It does the job and looks really pretty too.

So although I didn’t keep this as it wasn’t the size I thought I needed, I was disappointed.. it was really well made and the color was beautiful and for the price you can’t beat it

I ordered the Sand-colored 16' x 16' x 16' sunshade sail. That sounds very large, but it was just right for my small eating area. It comes with instructions and a thick long white rope (one piece). I've always wanted one to cover the eating area of my yard for shade and for a more finished-looking backyard. I live where it's very hot and dry, so I didn't need waterproof. This sunshade sail offers high sunlight and UV blocking protection and breathability -- air passes through it easily. I took some detailed photos so you can see 1) how it arrived (folded neatly), 2) the texture and double-seam edges 3) the stainless-steel D ring at the three points 4) how it looks stretched out (kind of -- at the time of the photo we were still positioning it to see what angle to use). The edges are intentionally curved to help avoid sagging. The sunshade sail color I received is closer to a dull yellow rather than sand (two of my photos look beige, but that's just a camera effect).Like most, the hardware for this sunshade sail comes separately -- there are different types of hardware to consider, depending on how you plan to mount it. The seller illustrates some options in the description. I'd probably recommend at least one turnbuckle (the hardware you can turn to tighten and adjust) because the seller advises that the material may stretch up to 10%. For mounting the sail, in my case, we'll probably get two tall poles and attach the third side to our cement block wall. TIP: Consider reading about sunshade sails so you factor in the right size, shape, hardware, and color(s) for your needs and property. Then you'll be set up for great enjoyment! I hope this information is helpful.
