Three things I’d like to tell you about in this review: 1) ordering times, 2) Material and cut 3) fit of the shorts.1) Certain colors are shipped by Amazon and will come in a day or two. The first time I ordered- it was the purple colored one which shipped from Lands End. Note that it will take a week to arrive if you order one of those colors.2) The material that the shorts are made of, feel relatively thick and seem to be good quality. There might be a whooshing sound when you walk depending on whether your thighs touch. This is likely for any slick material though. The length is good, I did not feel that the legs crawled up (with the exception the shorts are too small for me on my hips). The material is stretchy without feeling floppy as some swimwear can. Love the thicker band at the waist. I didn’t wear it for an extended period of time or get them wet, so I don’t know if the waist band rolls.3) The fit of the shorts is where I have a problem. Amazon suggested these shorts run large and I should order a 12. I wear about a 14 in everything else. As you can see from my pics, I was able to get the 12’s on, but it was pretty tight. So no they do not run large. I then ordered the blue size 14 thinking they will fit then. Almost- but hips are still pretty tight. I included the size chart and what my actual measurements are. As you can see, the chart places me bigger than a 16. I don’t wear a 16 or bigger in any brand.I just ordered the same shorts but WITHOUT the BUILT-IN PANTIES in size 14 and size 16. to see if this makes a difference on how tight they are on my hips. I did not order plus size because I’ve tried plus sizing before and I have never fit that mold. So I will see if the pantyless ones fit any different. I have also ordered swim capris- I had no idea those were even a thing! Might be more flattering for my shape.Overall these shorts are comfortable if you can find a size that fits and length is great to hide all your woes. =P

I'm in love with the swim shorts. Perfect for beach walking, water parks or hanging by the pool. As a 60 yr old woman I don't want to wear a bikini. I could even wear these into a restaurant with a proper top. It's so well made I'm sure this piece will last for years. The fit is also very flattering.

Had to return the size 6 for a 4. Fits great now…5 ft 6 and weight 128 lbs. The other reviews mentioned a swishing noise when wearing, which I did hear too but a small price to pay for a quality pair of swim shorts. I think after a couple washings that will lesson!

The waist band is comfortable. When you get out of the water the pockets are ALWAYS inside out. I ordered petite but have to pull the pants up way above my naval so that the crotch doesn’t hang to my knees. I’m 5’1”. They are ok, I don’t think they are worth $50. It will cost you close to $4 to return them.

I bought them too big and didn't have time to exchange before my trip so I had to wear them as is. Other than that they work fine except the velcro closure tends to seperate when you're bending/twisting.
