I wore these over my swim bottoms from a two piece set swimsuit that was rash guard and shorts. These provided me with another layer for sun protection and worked great in the ocean. They dried relatively quickly as well, but my backside dried much slower than the front. These do not have a layer inside of them so you could wear them as short with underwear or wear them on top of your swimsuit. They were easy to adjust for the proper fit and never felt like they were falling off. The color was actually perfect to go with my swimsuit rash guard and neutral enough for me to wear as regular shorts if I wanted to. These were great and I’d order more if needed! These pants worked well for wearing over a bathing suit. I also wear them as regular shorts. They are a little bit scratchy though, since the material is meant to be quick dry after swimming. I bought a 2xl and I normally wear a size 20 pants. They fit well.

The shorts that arrived in my order are like cheap mens swim trunks. The front looks the same as the picture however there is a big elastic band along the back. The sizing is off. I ordered a 1x based on the chart and customer reviews however they are huge.

Love how fast they dry after swimming in the river! Perfect shorts for river swimming! The shorts were cool and comfortable on the hike to the river, excellent in the river, and they dried in a few minutes at the start of the hike back.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these shorts. They stayed up no problem while swimming, I didn't do any diving or jumping so I can't speak to that.

I rarely initiate a review however, this product really impresses me. I am on a weight loss program and was not sure what size to order based on previous reviews. Since I have always had to go larger with swim suits I ordered the 3X. It was miles too big (after 30 pounds of weight loss). I immediately requested an exchange because I loved the way the material felt. The new pair arrived in 24 hours! Just tried them on. Sooo comfortable. There is a tie and velcro at the front to adjust for slight more weight loss over the summer. The reach to just above the knees so they cover the ugly baggy thigh skin but do not impede bending the knee like some of the longer ones do. There is a pocket with velcro to put a key or sunglasses in. I tried it on with my bathing suit tops (that had a swim skirt that never was really comfortable) and it really is a nice fit in black. Slimming which makes you feel better as you loose the weight. Can't wait to try them out in the pool.

Fit as expected, I ordered a 3 x , usually take a 2x , but went one size up to ensure fit.Material is comfortable and lightweight, however , it is more slippery than I expected, given the kind of material it is.I have ordered other things in this material, and it has not been as slippery as these shorts.Just a word of warning, on that, before you order these shorts.Otherwise, great. I also usually have trouble with shorts bunching up in between my legs when I walk, but these don’t.Fit and comfort good. Could use another pocket, instead of just the one.

Lovely lightweight fabric. Comfortable and very quick drying. Nice pockets. I struggle to find shorts that a truly high-waisted but these are great and with the elasticated back they are very comfortable with no gaping at the waist. Will buy more in another colour.

I bought these for a trip to Mexico. They were better than expected. Comfortable, proper sizing, easy to roll, no wrinkle. And attractive with a nice top. Very lightweight and breathable. Easy to rinse out and air dry when traveling or hiking

I ordered a black pair of these board shortssize 1X and they fit like a glove. The material is so light and the shorts are flattering. I decided to buy another colour in the same size but they fit too tightly, which was puzzling. I tried again, ordering another pair one size larger but no luck, they were way too loose. I’ll just have to be happy with the first pair and forget about ordering more.

These are great. I ordered up a size so I would make sure they weren't snug. I'm between sizes, and going up one in this style is a comfortable fit. And the drawstring closure would allow a tighter fit, if needed. They have a nice, lightweight fabric. I bought them for a spring trip to FL for both beach time and a day at Disney. They will work great for both. They are only not a 5 star because the side pocket could be a bit deeper. As the only pocket, I expect to need it for my phone. And an iPhone 6 Plus will slip in the pocket, but doesn't close securely enough to be comfortable with the velcro.I would prefer them to be a bit cheaper, but that is partly because I liked them enough to order them in 2 more colors. I think they will work great this spring as I try to workout more and become NOT between sizes. They seem like they will be comfortable for walking/running and I like the length for that.

**After initial assessment and review ... I washed these shorts, hung them to dry and then packed for my vacation. At my destination I was sadly unable to wear these shorts when I unpacked as they had shrunk from being washed. Be very cautious and order LARGER than you expect to need... and wash them BEFORE you take them on holiday**.I ordered the size I would regularly wear and they fit perfectly. I was actually quite surprised at the quality and comfort of these shorts. They are so light weight and I can see why they would dry quickly. They are also very comfortable to sit in ... stretch ... but don't "look" stretchy if that makes sense. The length is also very nice ... as shown in picture. Just getting ready to order a couple more.
