I'm an engineer familiar with sealing design. The designers of this faucet violate standard practices on how to implement an o-ring seal that led to IMMEDIATE leaking where the upright part of the faucet meets the spout IF you moved the joint when pressurized (i.e. if you ever bump the spout or move the spout, it would leak). There are two o-rings, each of which MUST seal to prevent leaking (i.e. single point of failure which is already not great). The o-rings are small and there is a lot of clearance between the mating parts which is a recipe for failure. If they had used larger o-rings, the design would likely still seal even with large tolerance gaps between the mating parts. I would question any product from this company since an error like this is inexcusable when the ONLY thing it MUST do it not leak.We bought two of these as my initial out of the box impression was very good. This appears to be a sturdy, well built faucet but a leaking faucet is less than worthless. We returned both after I installed one of the faucets and identified a leak (between mating parts of the faucet itself, nothing I installed leaked). The second faucet had a lot of movement in the same joint and I suspect it would have leaked as well. Ended up installing a much cheaper faucet off Amazon that appeared to be much higher quality regarding sealing design.

Visible part of faucet set is great. Plumbing parts are low quality however. Improperly threaded brass T required running over with a die. Improperly sized rubber washer required multiple tries with spare parts to get a seal. Plastic tailpipe threads were not strong enough to compress and get a seal on the sink.

The brass faucet from Kingston Brass developed a leak in the faucet stem after 2 months of use. It appeared that the faucet stem was bolted and glued to the spout assembly, not soldered. According to the Kingston Brass technical rep, there are no user serviceable parts in the faucet assembly and I must wait 10 weeks for a replacement faucet stem to be shipped to the company. Then, it would be shipped to me. That's over 12 weeks without water in my bathroom! Kingston Brass would not send me a replacement faucet. Instead, they suggested I contact Amazon, but I am beyond my window for returns in Amazon. If you want it to last, I recommend you look for a quality faucet manufacturer.
