I'm servicing my vehicle's AC system. I purchased this to measure the air temperature coming out of the AC vents in my Jeep. It captures the temperature as it should. I compared the reading to a Klein infrared tool and they were close, if not identical depending on where the infrared was aimed in the vent.

Item is analog and works fine, but face is small and can be difficult to read numbers if you have poor eyesight.Face is slightly larger than a quarter

Exactly what I was looking for. Helped me diagnose a problem with my cars ac that I assumed but wasn’t too sure about. Fairly accurate readings(in person) and small yet eligible numbers*may be hard to see pictures b/c of lighting, but. with this tool I got a reading of 60+ and after fixing the problems. Dropped down to 40ish.

Gauge was too small to read. And felt like they tried to use a magnify glass to make the numbers legible but made it worse in my mind. Don’t recommend. I gave it away and ordered something different.

Excellent product. It has a probe that you insert in the A/C vent so it measures the temperature of the air that is coming out, rather than having the ambient air included. In may case, the A/C air was 5 degress C colder, sosystem doesn't need attention.
