We did have to move the base trim from underneath the door for it to work cleanly.But it looks nice and is exactly what we needed very sturdy.

The brackets are a little flimsy and they didn't mount perfectly to the van. I got it installed and it flexes a little when I step on it hard. I weight 280 lbs. (so lots of things "flex" when I step on them). Over all it seems ok. The slip resistant traction of the step is great.
