I'm looking at a lot of the comments and wonder if most have even picked up a tool. I'm definitely not a mechanic, but I have done small things like change my light fixtures, and other small part add ons. The instructions are def. Vague but use a little common sense and you will be fine one thing to suggest is don't tighten down the mounts all the way before you install the board so you have a little play to align the holes. Fyi you do have a couple extra parts if you have anything 2013 or older but they are bagged separately. I love mine!

Great running boards. Do yourself a favor and don't even look at the instructions because they are absolutely garbage. Good old common sense made for an easy installation. Brackets and boards seem nice only time will tell. Sturdy construction and well packaged.

Product arrived with no damage and packaged well. They look great and seem fairly sturdy. However the instructions are super vague and I actually ended up putting two brackets on the wrong side at first and it took a good while to figure out where the support bracket goes (holes in body right beside the cab mount for those wondering) If you have some general know how and technical skills then you should be able to install these with minimal trouble.Edit: After a couple days I developed a creak, sounded like the control arm bushings or something in the front end was gone. I knew it had to be the steps because the front end was recently redone. I took the body bolts out and laid a thin bead of white lithium grease on the top of the body bushing as well as the bottom where it contacts the step bracket and torqued the bolts to 60 lbs ft (jury is out on the correct torque specs so split the difference) and no more noise. I’d probably recommend going ahead and putting some grease on the bushings while installing just to try and prevent any noise.

Great look & pretty easy install. One bolt was a pain due to being a 1/4 " off from the center flange via the bar. (Flange wasnt made correctly , but close)I'd give the directions a 6/10 score. If you need help, look for the kind lads in the comments that leave info to lend a hand.

Fast shipping, packaging could have been better but there was no damage to steps. Instructions wasn't the best but after laying everything out I it was a breeze to install, don't worry about all the extra hardware none of it was needed for the install.A few tips when installing-1- use the pic diagram for layout. The larger bracket goes in the back. The bracket with the two (2) holes goes in the middle. Just make sure the top of the brackets are going in the right direction. ( follow the direction layout)2- use a breaker bar to remove factory bolts. Pay attention to the way the bushings come out. (You'll reuse all the factory hardware). When installing the brackets put the bolt through first then add the bushing on top and bolt on. Don't tighten all the way. Leave the bolt at least 4 turns from fully tightening.3- install running board with the 6 bolts, 6 lock washers and 6 flat washers. Line everything up and tighten the 3 factory bolts, then tighten the step bolts. ( don't over tighten these. Just tighten enough to where the lock washer closes.Only 1 con. the hardware is visible and looks tacky. I replaced mine with black bolts from lowes. Otherwise great product, very sturdy and looks awesome on mytruck. Highly recommended!
