Signature Sound
The clarity and range of Grado headphones can reveal new notes and details in songs heard hundreds of times. The driver and housing working in tandem react to sound vibrations and virtually eliminate transient distortions. With harmonic colors, full bodied vocals, and a world renowned mid-range, the SR60x produces easily obtainable Grado sound.
X Series Driver
4th Generation Grado drivers are here. Specifically tuned for the SR60x, this new speaker design features a more powerful magnetic circuit, a voice coil with decreased effective mass, and a reconfigured diaphragm. Reengineering these components for our 44mm drivers improve efficiency, reduces distortion, and preserves the harmonic integrity of your music.
New Cables & Headband
Along with the speakers, the cables and headband have been redesigned for the SR60x. Now housed in a more durable exterior, the 4-conductor cable features a super annealed copper wire for improved purity of the audio signal. The new headband features more cushion for a comfier experience.
Hand-Built in Brooklyn
Each SR60x is hand-built by our team in Brooklyn. This headphone goes from workbench to workbench until it’s ready for your ears. We started building on a kitchen table in 1953, and every experience since then has led to the creation of the SR60x.

At the price, these are fantastic. Clear and crisp, GREAT for classical, spoken content, and movies, and also surprisingly comfortable: super light, not much clamping force, and you can bend the headband for the perfect fit. While I like the pads it came with, I’d recommend the G-pads, as they reduce a bit of the brightness just a hair and warm the sound just a hair.I also have the SR325X, and while I prefer those due to the stronger bass, I wouldn’t have at all been unhappy with these. And I say that as someone who also owns and loves their HiFiMan Ananda, Focal Clear, and Meze Empyrean Elites (which are arguably the polar opposite of the sr60x).Quick tip: if you want to EQ for a bit more bass, go with the sr80x: the sr60x distort pretty quickly when you EQ bass up. But if it’s just a hair, get the G-pads.

Una confezione senza troppi fronzoli, con un foglietto che riporta l’immagine dei costruttori Che da generazioni costruiscono cuffie di attenta qualità.Il suono è molto equilibrato, la costruzione è solida ma soprattutto le frequenze sono ben bilanciate e costituiscono un ottimo riferimento sonoro per mixare, oltre che per godersi l’ascolto di buona musica con una qualità sicuramente valida.Se vi serve un paio di cuffie adatte al mixaggio, queste sono particolarmente indicate.Le consiglio.

Audio is great and compared to a friend's expensive bluetooth headphones, I still prefer these. I have had them for over a year now and they are still great! I also love how I have the converter for keyboards.Note, I listen to jazz, rock, metal, and classical music with these. Sometimes hiphop.It sounds the best for jazz and live performances.Only drawback (not actually about the brand itself, more like the type of headphones these are): I can't wear these headphones in public since they are open-back --> too loud for other people.

I hav multiple headphones and earphones ranging from 18,- euro to 599,- euro.These headphones sound extremely well. I enjoy them as much, or even more than my Denon-ahd5200(599,- euro), my PSB M4U(399,- euro) or my HiFiMan HE400SE(139,- euro).They are mabybe not the most neutral or technical but boy oh boy are these cans fun to listen to!When lying in bed I can just listen to them hour after hour.I also tested his big brother (SR325X 399,- euro) but the SR60X almost sound the same and are just as fun to listen to. My first Grado and I am hooked to the “Grado sound”.This is a no brainer.In for a headphone and you have the budget? Buy the SR60X!!!

really enjoy these entry level Grados. DId a bit of research online about these before buying them and there's a lot of mixed opinions on them. After making the choice to buy them I was not disappointed. I'm not a gear nerd but for my purposes (video editing, listening) these are great! Super comfy and they look great too. The only complaint I agree with Grado critics is the cord sucks! It's just constantly in a state of tangle. If that was changed I'd be happy

Not much to say about this product except that it really does sound terrific. I use them as a monitoring option for evaluating audio mixes. They're worth every penny.

Musicians:Open back headphones are my new favorite way to practice.Everyone:These are not sub-bass heavy headphones. No mud down low but there is enough to make an 808 sing.These are very "live" sounding. Pink Floyd Division Bell sounds amazing. Deadmau5 XYZ sounds Amazing. De la Soul Pain sounds better than I've ever heard it, There is some sort of re-amp stuff I hadn't previously noticed... I'm not sure what it is right now, it has that amp emulation sound if you know what I mean. I'm not a producer so it's above my pay grade. Miles Davis - So What sounds brighter with more room sound than I remember it. You can hear the articulation of his fluff tones very clearly.My home speakers are Altec Voice of the theatre A8 15inch woofers, Horn mid/tweeter, about 80lbs each, 99dB sensitive. My amp is a basic Yamaha with HDMI and My sub is from Amazon. These Grado SR60x hold up. They sound like my home system but without the sub. 3rd party big over ear pads are a must, the stock pads don't sound nearly as good and aren't very comfy.

My needs for these were meagre. I like to play RockSmith, and my wife doesn't want to hear all those old songs being worked on.So to keep the peace, I need more than a turned down speaker.This is my first day and experience with these, but I must say that as soon as I put them on, the enhanced (better than my laptop speakers) depth of stereo is very impressive.Now all my wife can hear is the strings being hit on my Epiphone guitar, while I hear gorgeous stereo versions of the songs I'm playing.Very satisfied so far, except for one tiny thing. The fit is not great. Ah well, a small price to payI
