This was my easiest build. There is no motor mount, only a forward stop ring. All you have to do is get the fins on straight (not difficult using paper with the pattern drawn out under the rocket). Also be sure to glue the shock cord well below the location of the streamer when packed. On the first flight, it went so high I could not see it, and it was painted neon. I modified it by adding 4 inches of lenght and putting in a larger streamer.

These were very small in comparison to what k was looking for. I didn't read the dimensions. If you are wanting to make a little rocket they would be great. I returned them as it was to be a class project.

This rocket worked well. We built it with our granddaughter and it performed well. Very pleased with the value.

Although this rocket is small it is a lot of fun and goes very high for it's size. The only downfall is tracking it as it is small and hard to see. Plenty of fun though!

Like the other reviewer said, it's a quick and easy build, I spent an hour or so total working time, three hours total waiting for paint to not be tacky before applying decals, then the clear coat.Kinda wish I hadn't paid so much attention to detail on the paint job. I had the same problem with engines ejecting without deploying the recovery system, so both launches so far have ejected only the nose cone, causing body-tube-spearing-into-solid-sandstone. Which only chipped off some paint so that's good. There were two problems I was experiencing. First, the loose engine, it shoots out without fully deploying the recovery system. Second, the recovery system. The shock cord is two to three times longer than it should be. I experimented after my second nose dive and found that even with one quarter the recommended wadding, the shock cord was still too tight to blow out manually. I'm gonna chop the cord and post an update next time I launch it.
