Optimized Pressure Management and Optimized Hand Positions

Ergon GP1

Problem: Soft Tissue Pain

Excessive pressure on the sensitive areas of the hands result in numb fingers.

Ergon Gp1 Grip

Solution: Soft Tissue Comfort

With an anatomically optimized design, Ergon grips offer 100% contact with the hand surface area, versus traditional round grips, offer only 60% contact.

Ergon GP1

Problem: Nerve Pain

Excessive curvature of the wrist leads to undesired kinks in the carpal tunnel nerve. This results in a burning pain in the hand or forearm.

Ergon Gp1

Solution: Nerve Relief

By correcting the hand position, the carpal tunnel nerve is relieved and pain is eliminated.

Diese Griffe lassen sich gut montieren und auf die persönliche Handhaltung sehr gut abstimmen.

These bicycle handle grips are a must-have for touring and trekking and provide increased comfort and multiple hand positions that standard round rubber grips do not offer. The gp4 grips easily mount to your bike. Handlebar with one fixing, screw and hold tight without any rotational movement during even heavier use and force. The horns can be adjusted at varying angles to suit your riding position and the grip end caps can be removed to fit additional devices like bicycle rear view mirror. They are constructed with high quality materials and give great comfort to the hand, but just be sure to angle them appropriately for the best comfort level that suits you.

So far I’ve only installed the right side since that is the wrist I have the most trouble with and need to ride using the bar when not needing to shift, I’m currently looking for a mirror for the left side before I install that side. It’s made of very nice quality plastic and you can adjust it to fit what works best for how you ride.

These have helped with the numbness in my wrists. Offers more than one riding position. So far I really like them.

"Bar ends" seem to be out of style these days but I remain a fan. I'd been eyeing Ergon for a long time as an upgrade to the stock grips on my Cannondale. Now I wish I'd done it sooner. These are high quality grips. They look great and the shape definitely reduces hand numbness for me. I debated the GP3 and GP4 (i.e, 3 vs 4 fingers on the bar end) and am really pleased I went with the 4. The shape is very comfortable and I really like having the space for my whole hand. I went with the "small" size by default as the large were not available. I think having used the smalls now if I had the choice I would pick the large size. I have an average sized hand and the small is fine, but overall I'd prefer it to be a bit thicker.

Very comfy once you find your preferred position. Keep a hex key handy cause it’ll take a couple of weeks/months depending how often you do long tours to find the right angle for the ‘gel pads’ on the grips to sit at. Once they’re adjusted to your particular liking, adjust your brakes so you can grab them with ease, adjust the bull horns again to where you are comfy and they are the best grips out there. Yes, they are a bit pricey but after months of tingling fingers and loss of feeling I can honestly say I did 30 miles the other day with these adjusted to my setup and not once did I get any tingling at all. So in my opinion they’re worth every damn penny!!!
