Ember Armor Wildfire Prevention Sprinklers can be used to create a mist around your home that puts out embers before they hit the ground, one of the number one ways homes catch fire in a wildfire event. Ember Armor Wildfire prevention sprinklers are patent protected solid stainless steel sprinkler arm units that can withstand heat and weather. Kits come with all mounting hardware sprinkler head and clips to mount and hide the 25-foot fire resistant lay flat hose. In British Columbia Canada in 2021 Logan Lake survived a direct wildfire largely in part because many of the homes were already equipped with roof top sprinklers. Ember Armor sprinklers don't require winterization in most climates when installed at the roof peak and include a 25 foot lay flat hose that is easy to store with a small footprint. Just connect it if you are put on wildfire alert and hook into your standard garden spigot or directly to a fire pump. Ember Armor sprinklers throw water in a 25 - 40-foot radius depending on your water pressure. Once mounted they can be used while on a Wildfire Alert and are compatible with firefighting structural protection units when you need to leave because your home is under Evacuation These units can also be installed on trees, fence poles, and are configurable to avoid soaking your chimney if you are concerned about direct spray in that area. Comes in black or white to more aesthetically match your facia board and look stylish on homes. Being on wildfire alert doesn't mean you need ugly fire hoses draped across your house for months. These units are battle tested and have saved many homes to date. An effective risk mitigation tool. Insurance can be hard to get and often doesn't cover the costs of new building code changes, ever increasing material and permit costs or the memories. Helping residents avoid years of rebuilding and repair and loss of history by giving structures their best chance of survival during a wildfire.

With the large number of fires in BC this year it was time to take some serious planning measures. I bought this product over the others because it looks ascetically pleasing and it isn’t made of plastic that likely won’t survive our Canadian winters. (Let’s be honest I am not climbing up ladders more than I have to) Three 1.5” deck screws and a level and it’s up. I hid the hose under the facia board so you don’t even see it using 3/4” metal clamps I got from a plumbing store. They also recommended I use Teflon tape on the sprinkler head so I did. The range on this is quite amazing , I have two, one on either side and it wets everything down. One thing I liked too was the ability to set the sprinkler head to avoid the chimney because my storm collar isn’t sealed properly and that helps prevent water getting down the collar (that’s a next spring job). Anyways highly recommend! I feel safer already.

We bought 4 of these sprinklers for our roof. They arrived quickly. They're super sturdy and the install was very easy. Matt the buisness owner was very helpful and provided almost instant advice and answers to our questions. We had them up and running in a couple of hours. The sprinklers work very well and we feel a lot more at ease knowing that we're more protected if a fire were to break out in our area. Please look no further and get these ones, you won't regret it!. When you register the sprinklers 10 dollars gets donated to the local fire department who is also alerted that you have wildfire sprinklers installed on your roof. Go to the company website, it's packed full of videos and information on how to keep your home safe during wildfire season with pictures and advice on installing the sprinklers too. With drought and wildfires becoming the norm here in BC it just makes sense to protect your home the best you can.

Bought one of these for my friend in Whistler as a lot of people had them for the Downton Lake wildfire near Gun Lake. He said it was easy to install and worked well. We had a ton of fires in B.C this year, best house warming gift i could think of for a friend living in an area surrounded by dry tree's. Other products online were made out of plastic. These sprinklers are made out of solid powder coated iron which is why i chose them and it was well worth it as the quality is amazing.

Installed this on the roof peak of the house and gotta say I’m very impressed with the quality of materials. This is a solid sprinkler head and the body is all metal and HeAVY. It came with nuts and bolts but I used some decking screws and it seem super solid. The lay flat hose is a really nice hose. I was expecting to replace it with a store bought one but this seem high quality and I might order others now. Seems like it would be more fire resistant. It has a strong spray and covers a big area, but doesn’t cover the other side of my house as much as I’d like,. so If you have a big house you might need to order two. Might also get some for the outbuildings for more coverage.

Although we are in Vancouver when you look at what is happening in Kelowna and other towns burning to the ground I figured it was time to get one of these. I actually had a friend install it (he is a roofer) because I didn’t want to go on the ladder but now I can turn on the sprinkler anytime I need to from the ground. Apparently it doesn’t need to be removed in the winter either so that’s awesome!

My brother got me one of these as a gift after the insane summer of fire the west coast had here. We installed it on the front of my house but it didn’t completely cover the entire house so I ordered another. I clipped the hose on the inside of the facia using some clamps so we don’t have to go up on the roof again. I installed a y splitter and my tap seems to be able to run two at the same time. It provides amazing rain bubble around the house. I feel much safer!
