ADJUST SPRAY INTENSITY
The adjustment screw at the front of the sprinkler head diffuser the water as it is sprayed. When the screw is in the out position, the water sprays in a fine stream. When the screw is in, the tip of the screw enters the stream of the water.
THE STAINLESS STEEL CLIP
Flip clip to the up position to allow the sprinkler to rotate 360°.
ADJUST SPRAY AREA
Keep the clip in down position, the sprinkler head will rotate between the two collars. Adjusting the upper and bottom collars until the desired part of circle is reached, then the sprinkler will water in a partial circle, rather than a full circle.

I haven't set this up yet where I'm going to be using it on a timer but I have already played around with the settings for adjusting the spray pattern. It's extremely simple to use and very intuitive. They're a little tabs that lift up and down depending on which distance and which section of the sprayer you want to have spring full distance or closer so you can customize the pattern even for a regular shaped yards or areas that you want to water so you're not wasting a bunch of water over spraying an area or you're not under spraying Corners that would otherwise get neglected with a standard circular sprinkler. I'm looking forward to getting this set up. Based on the other reviews it looks as though it works very well. It is plastic so I'm not sure how long it's going to last Under full sun but we'll see. I tend to prefer metal sprinklers that are pretty bulletproof but this does seem to be well constructed just the plastic material may not last more than a season or two. I'll definitely be bringing it in during the winter months so it doesn't have any standing water in that could crack the plastic. That's the biggest issue with plastic components that are used for watering because if there's even a tiny bit of water inside them and it gets Frozen, then it will crack the plastic as often happens with sprayer nozzles that are made of plastic. For now I recommend this if you have an area that is irregularly shaped and you want to be able to cover all of the surface without wasting water or neglecting any Corner areas.

The one I received leaked throw the spot on the bottom where it had need injection molded.

This sprinkler is one of the most versatile sprinklers I have ever used.I have an odd shaped backyard and your standard sprinkler is very hard to use without putting a lot of water on a patio area which is a waste of water.With water prices so high it is important to make sure all the water you use ends up where you need it.What makes this sprinkler unique is how many different adjustments it has. Firstly, you can adjust the spray so that it is dispersed or solid by using a small screw at the outlet of the sprinkler.The next adjustment you have controls how many degrees this will water. The sprinkler goes in a circular direction and when it hits the small clip that you set then it reverses direction. You can adjust it so it goes a full 360 degrees or just a small amount.What really makes this sprinkler unique is that you can adjust how far the sprinkler will spray at 12 different locations around the 360 degrees. This way you can adjust it to perfectly cover an irregularly shaped lawn. There are 12 small pegs that you adjust to control this feature.I put mine in the middle of my yard and set it to go the entire 360 degrees. I then adjust the distance at each of the 12 points so the water is used efficiently. I have one spot where I have a bird feeder hanging from a tree and I can adjust the water so that it will not spray the feeder.This is the most versatile sprinkler I have ever used.It is very solidly made and should work for years to come.Once you set the 12 points you can leave them set and just make sure you put the sprinkler in the same area each time so you do not have to set it up again. I have marked where the sprinkler goes with a small peg hammered into the ground.I plan on getting one of these for my front yard as well which I will adjust for the front and do the same.I am very happy with this sprinkler and I do recommend it. It will work for any shaped lawn very efficiently and is the most versatile sprinkler I have ever used.

We built a new building on the farm this past fall and the area around it needs new grass. Though it is spring, we were dry for about a week - of course right after I put down grass seed. This sprinkle did great. It is durable and I was able to adjust the spray as I hoped.
