I teach place value with these in the online setting. They work very well. Only one thing would have made this a better set for teaching place value: more hundreds flats. I would like to have had 10 of them to show the pattern up to the thousands.

Love the idea of it but the items are too small to use in a classroom.

I purchased this product to use in my classroom. When it came in, I was not impressed with its size. It is smaller than I expected. The students at the back of my rug in the classroom have a hard time seeing this tool on my magnetic whiteboard. However, the price is very cheap which is why I originally purchased it. Having my students visually understand the place value of numbers is essential. However, this product’s size makes it difficult to get the objective across whole group. I teach 29 students so I need something larger for a whole group to see.
